Sea Turtles from the Past is an art project by Michela Cinus (MAG).
Sea Turtles from the Past is an art project that involves the creation and staging of various art works. In Sea Turtles from the Past turtles who once lived in the Gulf of Cagliari, in our seas and oceans, back to remind us that may still be there, and that we have to respect the environment if not turtles will disappear from Sardinia, the Mediterranean, from the planet.
Sardinia has an incredibly rich natural heritage, to protect and enhance. More species of turtles frequent the coastal waters and one of them still reproducing around the island. In a broader sense this installation wants to recall that distracted from commitments and daily rhythms are slowly losing the most precious asset of humanity.
